REFUND POLICY

OVERVIEW

By registering for the Suryoyo Youth Gathering (SYG USA), you agree to the terms outlined below. We understand that plans can change, but because we are required to prepay the hotel for rooms and meals based on our registration counts, we must enforce a strict cancellation timeline.

CANCELLATION TIMELINE & REFUND AMOUNTS

Refund requests must be submitted in writing via the Contact Form on our website. The amount refunded depends on when we receive your request:

  • Before April 30, 2026: You are eligible for a Full Refund of the ticket price (minus any credit card processing fees).

  • May 1, 2026 – June 1, 2026: You are eligible for a 50% Refund. By this date, we have already committed funds to the venue that cannot be recovered.

  • After June 1, 2026: No refunds will be issued. The final headcount has been submitted to the hotel, and your room and meals have been paid for.

TICKET TRANSFERS

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another eligible attendee (Age 18+) instead of cancelling.

  • Transfer requests must be submitted by June 15, 2026.

  • You must provide the new attendee’s full name, email, and specific roommate request changes at the time of transfer.

EVENT CANCELLATION

In the unlikely event that SYG USA is forced to cancel the gathering entirely (e.g., due to extreme weather or unforeseen, uncontrollable events), all attendees will receive a full refund of their registration fees. SYG USA is not responsible for refunding personal travel costs (such as flights) in the event of a cancellation.
